Volunteers are the heartbeat of Habitat
Whether you are looking to develop new skills, share your expertise or meet new people, we invite you to volunteer with us at our Habitat ReStores or on our Build site. There are volunteer opportunities every week, and we offer a wide range of ways to get involved with flexible hours. We welcome everyone 16 years of age and up to join us in helping families in need of a safe and decent place to live.
Be part of a team of volunteers that strengthen our communities, change lives, and make Grey and Bruce counties a more inclusive and sustainable place to live.

Volunteering at a ReStore is a great way to give back to your community.
ReStore volunteers prepare merchandise for sale, receive donations, provide customer service and help keep our stores looking great. Proceeds from Habitat ReStore sales help fund the homes Habitat Grey Bruce builds for families.

Booking a Team Build Day with Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce offers your company a safe, unique, one-of-a-kind Team Building experience where your staff can bond and build a Habitat home together at one of our construction sites.

Host a Community Fundraising Event
Are you looking to give back to the community through an event that you host?
Be creative and raise funds by engaging your community, colleagues, family and friends to support the building of affordable housing for local families in need of decent shelter. Together with the support of individuals, community and corporate partners, we have built over 70 homes touching the lives of over 200 children.
There is no event too big or too small!
We at Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce will provide support for your fundraising efforts and sharing tips and tools to set you up for success. Together we can make a difference for families in need of a safe and decent place to live.

Habitat Grey Bruce Volunteer Spotlight
I am recently retired and thought the interaction at the ReStore would be good for me. The customers are great as are all the staff. My few hours of volunteering gives someone else the chance to do their work uninterrupted and I can give back a little. I feel good and I hope the customers do too. Just greeting people as they walk in or out is nice. A wonderful place to help out.
